CAR Taskforce to meet October 1

The CAR Taskforce will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, October 1 at 6:30PM in Council Chambers on the 2nd Floor of City Hall. The purpose of the public hearing is to receive public input concerning the process used by CAR.

Robertson’s public forum on new development tax incentive to be held on Tuesday

Councilwoman Robertson will be holding a public forum tomorrow (Tues.,Sept.15) from 10AM-noon to solicit input and support of a proposed new law (PDF) which seeks to offer tax incentives for development on vacant lots in specific areas of the city.

Volunteer locally for HandsOn Day 2009

Wildcats’ quarterback Xavia Gary racked up 368 passing yards for the Wildcats in an exciting up&down home win over Thomas Jefferson last night in their first game of the season. Next week Armstrong plays at John Marshall High School in a 1PM Saturday afternoon game.
