Fatal accident on Fairfield Avenue

Around 6:30PM this evening, a minivan traveling eastbound along Fairfield Avenue struck the rear of a stopped GRTC bus that was stopped at a bus stop near Kane Street. Fire on Venable Street

A boarded&vacant house on Venable Street just west of the Ocean Grocery caught fire at around 11PM last night. Judging from the path in the backyard, someone had been occupying or using the back of the house for some time.
