East End murder count still down over last year
nbc12 reports alarmingly on an increase in the city’s murder count this year over last, but fails to give any perspective: the East End murder count is still down from last year. We’ve had 6 killings so far in 2009, but already had 9 at this time in 2008.
The RTD is reporting the rise in homicide city-wide but like nbc12 also fails to mention that the East End is running below even last year’s record-setting numbers.
