Updated list has 11 trees coming down
The city’s Department of Public Works – Urban Forestry page list of trees to be removed has been updated and now includes 11 neighborhood trees that will be taken down within the next 30 days. (previously)

I cannot stand the incorrect neighborhoods on that map!
and the listing seems incomplete because a tree on East Broad in Chimborazo Park is slated for removal, or so says the sign stapled to the tree. It looks healthy except for 2 dead limbs. I checked the list and it is not there or is incorrectly listed
Sometimes I wonder if the job requirement for “Urban FOrester” is that you really really hate trees. They seem to lop down a lot of them rather than make any efforts to prune and save.
