BHC honors leaders in sustainability

BHC will host its 20th Anniversary Celebration at the site of its next major revitalization initiative: H. Beckstoffer’s & Sons lumber mill in historic Church Hill (1208 N. 28th Street).

As part of the celebration, BHC will recognize individuals and organizations who have exhibited extraordinary leadership in promoting the fundamental pillars of sustainability. Awards will be presented for:

1) Transforming communities
2) Creative collaboration
3) Environmental Responsibility and Innovation
4) Changing Lives

Details and nominee criteria will be available in January 2009. For more information, sponsorship opportunities or participation in the Sustainable Community Day on March 21, contact Drew Melson at d.melson@betterhousingcoalition.org.

24th Annual Church Hill Irish Festival
