Fatal shooting on Phaup Street

As as yet unidentified 24-year-old male was shot to death just before 3AM Saturday in the 2300 block of Phaup Street in Fairfield Court. The police have a person in custody relating to this incident. 25th Street Roundabout construction to close intersection for several weeks

The City of Richmond Department of Public Works today announced that work to complete the final phase of 25th Street Roundabout construction will necessitate the closing of the intersection of 25th Street, M Street, and Jefferson Avenue from Monday, March 2 until early April (weather permitting).

New trees and mulching at Libby Hill Park

The Church Hill Planters and the Friend of Libby Hill Park pulled together community volunteers to plant 24 new trees and mulch 40 existing trees in Libby Hill Park this morning. About 60 people turned out to help, including a solid contingent from the Richmond Tree Stewards.
