Delores McQuinn resigned her City COuncil 7th District seat last night to take on her new position as a State Delegate. Her short-term replacement will be named on February 9th; an election in November will fill the seat until the end of the term.

The City Council agenda for Jan.12 includes ordinances to acquire 1326 N. 26th Street, 821 Mosby Street, 1901 and 1903 O Street, and 504 North 33rd Street; and to provide “partial tax exemption in redevelopment or conservation areas or rehabilitation districts”.
