Envision Richmond @ The Expansion Joint
The 2009 Envision Richmond Kick-Off Meeting was held tonight at the Tricycle Gardens headquarters in Manchester and featured presentations by Sheila Sheppard of the Partnership for Smarter Growth and Rachel Flynn, the Director of Community Development for the City of Richmond.
Ms.Sheppard gave an overview of the aims of PSG and defined and explained “smart growth”. Ms.Flynn discussed the needs and next steps for Richmond with regard to the master plan, and touched on both Echo Harbor and the Shockoe Center proposal.
