Why can’t this file be saved as a PDF directly instead of scanned? The options for doing so are numerous, and most are free. Actually, I would prefer this method of distribution rather than a hard copy on my doorstep. Is this the direction things are moving?
I’m sure there are households in the Church Hill area without internet connections at home (i.e. our elderly residents). In my opinion, the paper copy is still a viable option to have.
I live north of Broad and I get one. There’s no cut off point for delivery. They are delivered by people who volunteer to be block captains and deliver them on their designated blocks. People who don’t get them, probably don’t have a block captain.
I tried to work on just this many years ago when I worked with the CHA and started their Internet Web Site. But at that time there was a lot of micro-managenemt and one-sided idealism concerning control of what CHA did and just who they catered to so… the project died. This was to also aid in having all of the back issues available online to those who wished to read them.
CHurch Hill Association web-site is up and running now for nearly two years. We have many of the old Newsletters there as well as other Association information.
Yes we/I do monitor what goes on the site as we serve all 300 members on a variety of announcments,events, and issues. It is more of an information sharing site than CHPN where folks often feel free to post thier personal points of view. I check, read and use them both but for different purposes.

Getting the CHA newsletter on line would be great. Living north of Broad I don’t get the paper version anyway.
