Democratic primary for 70th is Saturday

Democrats in the part of the area covered by the 70th District House of Delegates seat will hold a primary this Saturday from 1-4PM at 31st Street Baptist Church (823 North 31st Street) to select a candidate for the State Delegate position being vacated by Mayor-elect Dwight Jones. Two people have indicated that they will be on the ballot: 7th District Council Representative Delores McQuinn and Henrico lawyer Carlos Brown. Following the primary, a special election will be held on Jan.6.[via]

When you look at the map you see that the 70th District only takes in part of Church Hill. If you want to check to see if you are part of the 70th or 71st Districts go to http://conview.state.va.us/whosmy.nsf/main?openform
You can access other information about the General Assembly from here, also.
