While doing ownership research for our house and their grave sites, I ran across several strange situations for Oakwood including burials which were moved because of them being in the wrong location. You also have many lost bodies because of the fact that probably half of the flat headstones older than 50 years have sunk below the ground and lost unless a "family member" comes and unearth them. Unfortunately many of the older graves have no one to come and take care of them any longer so... I ran across a couple of people like that. I probed the ground and unearthed a few but I also asked the grounds keeper to help locate and unearth one I know is at a particular plot buried in the 1930s but it has yet to be done months later. Headstones knocked over also remain on the ground including in the newer section and just bury and mow around them rather than upright the stones… LAZY and non caring. Eric Doesn’t surprise me.
