East End Fellowship block party this Sunday
East End Fellowship is hosting a neighborhood block party on August 31 at 4PM at the intersection of Oakwood Ave., Chimborazo Blvd. and Q St (adjacent to Mari’s Mini Mart). There’s going to be great music from some local bands, lots of good food and a moon bounce for kids. Come out and get to know your neighbors and celebrate the diversity of our community on Labor Day weekend.

any reports?
I stopped by for a little while and would’ve liked to have been able to stay longer, it was a good block party. The street was full of of all sorts of people, the band was *great*, and the food looked delicious.
The featured band was Belief and they rocked. This block party was the highlight of my holiday weekend. Kudos to EEF for putting together the type of collaborative event our neighborhood needs more of.
