Carletta is the president of the Martin Luther King Middle School PTA and has been chair of the Special Education Advisory Committee to the Richmond School Board. She is smart, articulate and dedicated to making sure that needs of all children — whether they are poor or have disabilities — are met by the school system. She is extraordinary.

joe, Carletta has a son, I believe, at MLK. I’m not sure where her preschool daughter will attend school.

John, I’m meeting with Carletta Tues. at Buzzy’s.

I think it is great that all these school board candidates are taking the time to meet personally with some of our commenters. However, I would like to see them, too. And I am not available in the a.m. or during the day on work days (as are many constituents). I would love to see something after 6 pm that features all of the candidates.
