the churches of Church Hill

An earlier version of this fell apart through some site upgrades, so I’ve put the photos together as a photo set on Flickr. If I’ve missed one, gimme the address in the comments.

I can think of three right off the bat. There’s the one at the end of the 300 block of N. 29th. The one at the 2700 block of E. Leigh St. and the one in the old bank building at 25th and Marshall St.

Oops! You got the one at 25th and Marshall.

John - I know this is reaching a bit further than this, but what do you think about some sort of richmond-wide church listing? meshing the photos with some sort of maps…

awhile back I had a conversation with a guy about this and the idea hasn’t really gained much traction, but after seeing this, it got me wondering again about this idea…

Third Presbyterian Church, now Belfry Condos, at 26th and Broad. (PS: Anyone want to buy the “Belfry” unit up front? We need to save our cash for the new purchase on Libby Terrace. LOL!)

I’m not sure, but did you get the Kings House of Prayer (its something House of Prayer) on I think 35th and P? There is also a small one on 33rd or 34th Street right next to a house with a vacant lot on the other side. And don’t forget the one on 31st and Marshall though that’s not a church so much as a temple.
