United House of Prayer Invites You To Friends’ Day

The United House of Prayer has invites one and all to visit them tomorrow on Chimborazo Boulevard:

We would be honored to have you as our special guest during our Palm Sunday (”Friends’ Day”) worship service at the United House of Prayer For All People in Richmond, Virginia on Sunday, March 16, 2008 beginning at 11:00 AM. We are very excited about meeting more of our neighbors from within the Churchill community!

Annually, we reach out to our neighbors through community programs such as our Community Marching Band (”Marching Lions”), “Unity in the Community Day”, free Thanksgiving dinners, and our Christmas Toy Drive to name a few.

Our Community Marching Band has become an integral part of our community and has a rich history of recognition and support at various levels, from the Richmond Braves to our local congregation. The Marching Lions have been invited to many out-of-town venues, appearing before huge audiences during competitions, parades, and for leisure.

“Unity in the Community Day” receives an outpour of participation and support from area businesses, churches, and the community. We provide free food, entertainment, and safe fun for children during this event. This year event is scheduled for Saturday, June 7, 2008.

Annually, we provide free Thanksgiving dinners to the community. This event is performed during the latter part of November.

Our Christmas Toy Drive takes place during the middle to latter part of December. We provide over 300 toys to the community annually.

Please feel free to stop by for any of these events. We also have a Yahoo! Group (RichmondUHOPFAP) available for you to learn more about us.

Again, we are looking forward to having you here with us on Friends’ Day, Sunday, March 16, 2008!

Striving hard to continue to be an asset for our community, Apostle A. L. Taylor (Pastor) and the congregation of the
