no lights, and quiet

no street lights

The street lights have been off around here all night, and I just saw a cop car cruise by slow with the blue lights rolling but no siren.

Does anyone know what happened tonight at about 10:30p/11:00p at 32nd and Q? There were about 10 cop cars and the police van. It was a crazy scene, especially with all of the street lights out.

And why were the lights out in all of church hill?

I will not walk my dogs when the street lights aren’t on. Even walking around in the yard right next to my house is a little freaky without the lights on as I’ve got nothing but trees and brush on the other side. It’s freaky and a very loud scream for trouble to start.

    at 32nd and Q…

There was a short police chase from the 1100 block of North 25th that ended without incident at North 32nd and Q Streets.

I’m curious to know why they were out, too. Apparently it was a pretty wide area – anyone know what happened?

And C, I don’t blame you. If you live in an area of sodium vapor lights like I do, it was DARK out there! I turned on my front and back porch lights, but that didn’t help much.

YES! this was so creepy! if it had not been for a few porch lights and some christmas decorations i might not have been able to even SEE my house! what happened?

    Police chase…wow. Thanks John.

I understand the lights were out in the West End of the city as well.
