Ah, he was taken to the hospital in relation to hypothermia concernes…

  3. posted by tiny1 at December 5, 2007 9:54 am :

The article said he was found on an “exposed electrical wire in the attic”!

Yay! Why in the world would he stay in the area to begin with? If I broke out of jail after serving little of my 45 year sentence, I’d get the heck out of dodge. Now he gets to stay in for the rest of his life without possibility of parol. Duh.

I’m not condeming his actions by any means but really, if he’s this stupid, maybe jail is the best place for him.

Not condeming his actions? You gotta be kidding! Too bad he didn’t freeze to death & save some tax dollars to keep his worthless butt in prison.

It looks like several family members will be joining him in jail. The paper reports that he was holed up in an abandoned house near mommy and across from another relative and there was evidence that his family was feeding, clothing, and giving him money. So he has ruined their lives too.

And this does illustrate why it is dangerous to have so many abandoned houses.

I am glad they found him before he died.

  8. posted by C at December 5, 2007 1:20 pm :

I don’t like wishing death on even the stupidest person as what he did originall did isn’t worth the price of death necessarily.

His family made the conscious choice to aide him in his escape so they should be held accountable.

Thank you, C. I feel bad for everyone involved - it seems like one bad decision after another was made. I’m just glad it didn’t turn out worse.

yea chimbo, i have heard the argument before, these old run down buildings are the cause of crime. need to tear them all down. yea i saw an old building hold up the corner market, with a handgun.

    bill-

Many abandoned and vacant properties have been privy to the occassional crack den or those persons needing a place to wait out the winter.

I don’t mind squatters though I should, I know, but they aren’t doing anything to disturb me or the area, so I don’t find it worth worrying about. I do, however, mind people getting high and selling drugs out of said house and causing more problems, which has happened more often than not.

Squatters, unfortunately, are the main reason there are so many house fires in these neighborhoods in the winter. If you think they don’t disturb the area, just wait until the abandoned house near you catches on fire and see how you’re affected. Also, I think when you used the word “privy” that you were right on the mark, just not what you intended!

He was tasered during the capture…makes one wonder what a taser gun would do to geese???? hmmm.

  14. posted by Chimbo at December 6, 2007 10:32 am :

And once again…all things relate to geese.

I am not sure what a good tasering would do, but I would buy a ticket to watch and find out.

“Squatters?” That is so insensitive and shows your lack of compassion. The proper term is “undocumented dwellers.” Get with the program!
