   Do you have any idea about where the descriptions of the houses come from? The dates are different from the city’s estimated dates.

   contgradulations, i see that the nomination is scheduled for the december review meeting with the map on the dhr site. house dates generally come from the surveyor

   There’s a 30 year difference between the NPS date estimate and the city’s for my house. Of course the city’s estimate coincides with the approximate date of annexation, so perhaps that’s where their # comes from. Still, 30 years is a big gap… Any clues how I might solve the mystery and do some research on my house history?

   My wife found out some very cool info about the people that had lived in our house over the years by looking in the Hill Books in the Main St. library.
