Trees were lost in Fairmount – 1800 block of T Street; purportedly to minimize damage to homes if the trees should fall. I know my new neighbors who are so frantically buying up land here are planting trees left and right.
Several huge trees were taken down this week on the corner of 22nd and East Leigh Street. We dont have a large number of large trees in the neighborhood, so the loss is a great one. The corner will not be the same again.
