SWATs going on?

Yesterday a contingent of State Police SWAT officers descended upon 2319 M Street (the white house with green trim, SW corner of 24th and M Streets), a location long alleged to be an open air drug market.

One neighbor says that “there is a lot of drug activity going on at and around this corner, and a high amount of foot traffic in and out of the house. We see drug dealers driving around the area and making deals constantly.”

The officers, wearing bullet-proof vests, hit the house at about noon. Apparently the people they were looking for were not at the house. The officers were talking to anyone who was out and about in the vicinity.

The officers are seeking any information you might have about the individuals who visit the home, “live” there and folks who might be using it as their mailing address. Since the police made their visit during normal working hours, most of the folks who might be willing to talk were at work.

Please contact Special Agent J. T. Worley, Jr. if you have any information about the activity and inhabitants at 2319 M Street. Phone 804-553-3470 cell 804-840-8326.

I wish they would raid the house on the corner of 27th & O Streets. The 900 block of 27th Street is becoming a hotbed once again. Thugs are trying to lay claim to this corner after a year of peace and quiet.

I wish that people would take the time out to know the elderly people of that house. Get the facts before you go typing your wrong info. 1st No Drugs was every sold out of that house. 2nd Any one who knows that family know that they have alot of grandchildren who checks on them everyday and they all have professional jobs. They can not control were people decide to sell there drugs. They cannot control the traffic of the public street and side walk. they are not the Richmond Police Department. If we could control what others do in America we would be Crime and Drug Free. By the comments on the page others can’t control whats going on in there blocks as well. All they can do is call the police just like you. Try reaching out to the ederly couple who pay taxes on the house like you pay on yours to see if the need your help with the OPEN AIR DRUG MARKET in there neighborhood.

I also live close to 27th & O and have noticed the folks hanging out in the street. It seem as though they’re just hanging out. I’ve walked through with my dog on more than one occasion and they’ve always been pleasant. I think they should be left alone.
