fire at 3318 Q Street
The fire department was called in for visible flames at 3318 Q Street just after 6PM. No word on how the fire started or the condition of the residents; the house was initially reported as empty.

I’m on the 3100 block and I checked in with my neighbors on the fire. Looks like it was an electrical fire. Thankfully, no one was hurt.

One of the neighborhood kids said he was riding his bike right next to it when he saw the window air conditioner explode. He’s an honest kid, but sometimes kids tend to exaggerate a little. It’s hard for me to imagine an air conditioner exploding.
