Please meet at the Park Bandstand at 8:30am for direction. Please drop me a line or give me a call if you plan to join in. With enough volunteers, the tree planting should last no more than a couple of hours. This is why I love my neighborhood! The response was simply amazing. This Fall/Winter we will plant 25 new trees in Jefferson Park, a wonderful gift to future neighbors and park users! We are also working out a watering plan for the trees, because a part of the agreement is that the community makes a commitment to water the trees in the first two years.
