next Downtown Master Plan meeting set
The community is invited to attend a workshop to continue the discussion on the future of downtown. The Downtown Master Plan project team will share details on design concepts, commercial and residential markets,the riverfront, and the transportation network. Come out to discuss these issues and share your thoughts. The meeting will be Sept.27 from 6:30-9:00PM @ the Renaissance Conference Center (107 W.Broad Street).

“Sea of Whiteness?” I find this mentality troubling. What kind of a message does this send to white folks?
I agree that phrase is inappropriate.
However, I find I share many of Ms. Chamberlayne’s concerns. Plus, I have not been impressed by what I have seen and heard of the ideas that have come from these sessions.
Does that portion of the story even add anything to the article?
If you completely remove that and you have a story on general views on urban renewel…involvement in the system… etc.

Editor: “Add some racial undertones to it…this is Richmond afterall…”
And to quote the RFP? Come on…you couldn’t have a more biased opinion…
