happy birthday to us

Three years ago today this site launched with a story about a coffee shop. Three years, 897 posts, 4,030 comments, and 3 page designs later, this site has succeeded beyond my hopes.

All of you that comment, share articles, and/or send info to be posted have made chpn the living, thriving environment that it is, and for that I thank you. The community involvement has made this site a model for other community blogs that have come about over the past year, including Hills and Heights, West of the Boulevard News, Petersburg People’s News, North Richmond News, Carver & Jackson Ward News, the Fan District Hub, and a few more that aren’t quite live yet.
