What are those plans? What does it mean for our community? Come make your voice heard! The Richmond Redevelopment and Housing Authority (RRHA) is currently planning to redevelop certain Richmond public housing communities in order to create mixed income neighborhoods. While public housing residents are most directly affected, any decision about the future of housing for our most vulnerable families affects us all. RTO wholeheartedly supports the creation of vibrant, mixed-income communities, and we simply want to make sure that stable housing for the elderly, disabled, and other low-income families is not reduced in the process. So we invite the greater Richmond community to join us in this educational opportunity. All Richmond City Council members, Mayor Wilder, and US Representative Bobby Scott have been invited to participate as well.
