this is one of the places i miss the most! and thanks for plugging Brick stories! :)
Now if only they served good coffee . . .
and had good, friendly service!
Y’all are some cranky bastards. We get something nice and you complain, anonymously, for a snarky laugh. I’ve been around long enough to know Buzzy’s as a cheap corner store and Jumpin’J’s as a brick shell. My quality of life is greatly improved by being having these business in the neighborhood and I’m glad that they are here.
Hmmm….another favorable quote in the news from Mr. Murden and his “hood”. If this keeps up, he’ll probably be running for Mayor. Then Washington. I wonder how he will deal with patroling cat killers at the federal level?
good for you Calvin….glad to hear it!
yeah, Rick, I was gonna let the end of that article go quietly. Having my name on this site makes me an easy contact, I think.
Good for J’s!! I almost always find an interesting crowd of people relaxing and dining at J’s. I really appreciate Ms. Depew’s committment to the neighborhood and her customers. I like the coffee and I think the service is fine - I just wish I could get a smoothie there - I seem to have the knack of ordering a smoothie only after the necessary ingredients have run out ;-) I’m looking forward to the dinner menu!
