Dunno how many readers of chpn.net were ticketed, but be aware that they are trying to slow down traffic by ticketing those who run stop signs. The good thing about more enforcement would be that it would give officers a chance to get a closer look at the trouble makers speeding through the neighborhood with their music cranked. I personally hate stopsigns... and I would gladly drive under 20mph to have all the stop signs taken away. Obviously everyone would have to agree to that and that's never going to happen. What a NOVEL idea! While they're at it, could they also enforce the 25 mph speed limit and slow down some of those folks who think that 25 mph and 52 mph are the same thing? I've started rolling(not speeding by any means because I drive like a grandma, but not stopping completely) through the 3 straight stop signs on Leigh because they are annoying.
