Sanitation workers this morning found the body of Herbert Lee Robertson, a 52-year-old homeless man in an alley between 19th and 20th streets. (also)

A break in a nearby water line has prompted Richmond City School officials to evacuate students and staff from Armstrong High School 5 weeks after a boken line at MLK Middle School.

The unofficial city results are saying that Delores McQuinn holds onto her city council seat and that Keith West pulls out a win in overnight vote counting. Congratulations!

proposed constitutional amendment could have heavy local impact

Local preservation organization ACORN recommends a NO vote for Ballot Question #3, stating that the that proposed changes discourage renovation/preservation and place an increased tax burden on existing homeowners.
