police car accident at 31st and Clay Streets
Two police officers are recovering after an accident just before 4:30am at the intersection of 31st and Clay Streets. The driver of a Ford Expedition did not stop at the intersection, crashing into the police cruiser. Charges may be pending against the driver of the Expedition.[via]
the expedition looks very similar to one that has been plying some trade over here in Union Hill for a few months…..lots of carwashing going down on M St……if it’s the one then I find this to be fine way of taking criminals off the street

Channel 12 said the driver of the SUV was charged with driving under the influence…they didn’t say under what influence.
The officers are fine but the police car is a total loss. This is an effective way to take out the bad guys but could be very costly in the end. Thanks for your concern about the officers, Ralph.
