Roundtable meeting Monday

The 7th District Roundtable meeting is this Monday evening at 6pm at EDI (M&25th Streets). There are 2 big bullets on the agenda — a presentation on the Echo Harbor Development at 3011 and 3021 Dock Street about their request for Special Use Permit and Conditional Rezoning, and a presentation on housing projects and initiatives in the East End. Both of these could be very interesting

It is my understanding that the Echo Harbor Development is seeking a Special Use Permit to exceed the height limit currently set. There may be other issues involved as well. Detractors of the development on Dock Street have described the project as “just about the last straw for destroying the view that gave Richmond it’s name. ” Come on down and find out what this is all about.

I won’t be able to make this one, as my school is having open house at the same time. I would *love* for someone to do a write-up on this for me…

Bill and Calvin - scroll down to the bottom of this page and click on “calendar” and you’ll find the info. you are looking for - forgive me for being snippy, but please remember the CHPN is a volunteer effort, and a DAMN good one at that! i don’t think we could thank john enough for providing the community with this essential resource - with that in mind, perhaps you might consider volunteering to update/edit the calendar on a regular basis? just an idea! oh - by the way, the city holds the 7th district roundtable meetings at least once a month - they are scheduled by the mayor’s office, which you can contact to find out about the next meeting that is planned.

Well said, Mary Anne. It sounds to me like someone needs a time out.
