National Night Out is tomorrow

I know of 2 National Night Out events in the area (Union Hill & Fairmount) — are there more? UPDATED



Union Hill

Come meet your Union Hill neighbors and celebrate National Night Out! Union Hill Civic Association’s National Night Out on Crime Barbecue, Tuesday, August 1st, Starts at 6pm on the 500 block of North 22nd Street. Bring a chair and gomething to grill. Tell your neighbors! UHCA will provide drinks, condiments, paper products and buns. Dont forget to leave your porch light on that night in support of NNO and crime prevention in our neighborhood! Everyone is invited–spread the word!

Fairmount

POSTPONED UNTIL SEPT 16 The New Vision Civic League and Faith Holy Christian Church of Deliverance are having National Night Out Celebration on Tuesday, August 1st, at 6pm on Short Q Street between 21st and 22nd Streets. Food drink and fun are provided. Brings the kids out!

    Main Street Leasing is partnering with the 17th Street Famers’ Market to host an event as part of National Night Out for the Shockoe Bottom community on Tuesday, August 1, 2006 from 5-8PM. Shockoe Bottom restaurants will be providing food and Farmers Market Vendors will be participating in an Evening Market.

    Here’s a list of other area events for National Night Out on Tuesday (Aug. 1):

    – Church Hill/Fairmount House Apartments will have entertainment and refreshments for residents at 2400 Burton St. & 1501 N. 21st St. from 5 to 7 p.m.

    – Fairfield Tenant Council will host a Community Day on Fairfield Avenue from 23rd to 26th Street from 3 to 8 p.m.

    – There will be a cookout with basketball, kid’s activities and entertainment at Luck’s Field on T St. between Roger St. and N. 20th. from 6 to 9 p.m.

    – Mosby Court Tenant Council will hold Night Out Against Crime at 1973 Accomodation Street from 4 to 7:45 p.m.

    i thought i saw that the fairmount night out had been postponed to sometime in september (on the marquee of faith holy church this morning).
