June Union Hill YTD crime stats

The June 2006 YTD crime stats for Union Hill are now available. The numbers show a 14% reduction in violent crime, 42% reduction in property crimes, and a 35% reduction in major crimes.

shooting at Fairmount House

An unidentified 47-year-old man was shot in the groin at about 5:15 p.m. at the Fairmount House, a home for handicapped and disabled seniors 1500 block of North 21st Street that was recently listed on the National Register of Historic Places. [via]
