Wall artist is picturing a brighter future

The RTD’s Michael Paul Williams has a nice article about the “A Star is Rising” mural at 24th Street and Jefferson Avenue.

The center, at 24th Street and Jefferson Avenue, is located at an intersection of old and new Church Hill. Century-old clapboard dwellings sit across from new brick townhouses. A community garden flourishes between a corner supermarket and an espresso emporium.
