more on McQuinn’s house
Yesterday, the RTD ran a longish article ‘McQuinn cited over her house’ and today has a short follow-up ‘McQuinn due in court today’.
From the first article: “This is not the only complaint the city has lodged against her two-story fixer-upper. City inspectors notified her of other code violations in January, saying the property had peeling paint, debris in the backyard, missing siding and porches lacking permanent columns, guard rails and hand rails.”
All of those violations could be used to describe our house as well, which is also in the process of a slow restoration. The house next door is completely abandoned, though, so the context is a little different.
