Man playing with a gun shoots self
A 25-year-old man allegedly playing with a gun shot himself in the head last night 3400 block of East Marshall Street at about 10:30 p.m., police said. The victim was transported to VCU Medical Center, where details on his condition were not immediately available.

The 25-year old man who allegedly shot himself in the head Saturday night in Richmond’s Church Hill neighborhood died early yesterday, police said. According to a spokeswoman, the victim’s family members said the shooting was accidental. The spokeswoman, anti-crime activist Alicia Rasin, identified the victim as Andrew Lamon Archer.
