The print-only City Edition has an editorial, Who Should Take the Lead on City Lead?, about the continuing need for lead abatement in Richmond’s older neighborhoods.

Good to see this.

Phil, Shabazz, Mary Lou, and other grassroots activists deserve credit for keeping this an issue.

Well people may complain about their simple layout, I am very thankful for City Edition’s work.

Can someone tell me how to contact a local person about lead abatement? I was told today to contact someone named Shabaz (sp?) – I’ve tried googling and came up with, of course, the trusty chpn-staging.vu4m9e27-liquidwebsites.com site, so am hopeful that someone can point me in the right direction. Thanks!

The Defender usually runs something in each issue about lead abatement.

United Parents Against Lead (UPAL National) is a Richmond-based organization.
