ACORN held a seminar, Richmond’s Disappearing History, yesterday at the the Library of Virginia. The 3 hour seminar covered interesting Richmond buildings that have been lost, buildings that are now in danger of being torn down, why these buildings matter, and some of how the city approaches vacant and decrepit building stock.

Car chase and crash during the night

Officers say a reckless driver refused to pull over around 1:30am Wednesday, near the intersection of 28th and P streets.  The pursuit ended when the suspect crashed his car at 39th and M streets. The driver got away on foot.  Authorities hope that fingerprints may help find him. [ from nbc12.com ]
