Two boys hurt in drive-by shooting

Two boys, ages 13 and 10, were wounded Monday night in a drive-by shooting in the Mosby Court public housing complex. Bullets struck each boy in the right leg. Police said their wounds were not life-threatening. The two, who were not believed to be the targets, were being treated Monday night at VCU Medical Center.

Richmond police Capt. Howard Hicks said the boys were wounded shortly after 5:45 p.m. as they played at Gay and Accommodation streets. Hicks said several shots were fired from a dark-colored SUV traveling on Accommodation Street.
