The large brick house on the corner at 425 North 32nd Street (apparently formerly the Willie Memorial Home for Adults and Irene’s Assisted Living) is for sale for $259,000.

When did the Assisted Living facility close?
If you check in Mary Wingfield Scott’s books on Old Richmond Neighborhoods she listed this as the Larus House from about 1845-1850. That whole area was the Larus farm. They founded Larus Tobacco Company which was merged into what is now Philip Morris.

It’s definitely not closed FYI. There are still residents/staff there.

Who has the listing?
How can one see it?
Thanks to bill hartsock, for showing what it could look like, with a appropriate portico, shutters, and rejiggered windows, etc landscaping etc
Did it sell in less than a week??
