This live interactive map shows where snow plows are and are going. Updated every few minutes.
You can also view the conditions of major interstates and roads here: http://www.511virginia.org/
Also, on that map, you can select to show VDOT cameras and if you click on those cameras you can see a live feed of the road. Very handy for a current look at the state of a road.
