If you haven’t checked out The Neighborhood Scoop they’re located next to the Sarah Garland Jones center on Nine Mile Rd. They have DELICIOUS ice cream and it’s the perfect treat for these hot summer nights. Stop on by!
It is the Scoop’s birthday on Saturday and we are throwing ourselves a party!!!
As a part of our first birthday celebration, we are going to have residents contribute to a banner about one way we can make the East End a better community. We will have face painting by the fabulous Church Hill resident/business owner, Unicia. We will have games such as Scoop trivia, blind flavor taste testing/guessing, and scavenger hunts that can earn you birthday bucks (good for $1 at The Scoop!). We will have a photo booth, balloons, and music. We hope it will be an enjoyable celebration of community for all!
Games and kid-stuff will happen from 4-6p, but we will still be celebrating throughout the evening and are staying open an hour later than usual, until 10pm!
