New shop alert: Records & Relics

recordsandrelicsrvaMAJOR NEWS ALERT!! Sometime in the very near future I will be achieving a long held goal of opening my own shop. This fantastic location became available to me recently with some assistance from former tenants @pomonaplants and fantastic neighbors @tinyspace.rva I will begrudgingly be closing down both of my booths @mixiesantiques where I have been for close to 4 years. The shop will be a refined version of what I have always done: highly curated used #vinyl #records #books #art#curiousities #decor #design #cassettes#wallart #memorabilia ~ Shooting for mid-September opening. Keep your eyes peeled here for more details real soon. So looking forward to it. #churchill #rva #smallbusiness#richmond #storefront #recordshop

Gather is moving to a new location, I’m pretty sure they will be where roaring pines used to be

That’s cool. 🙂 Vinyl has made a comeback and sure they will have nostalgia items with it.

@1 They moved to the old Roaring Pines spot and renamed the store Pomona. I am not really into the name change – if anything the soda fountain makes it more of a gathering spot – but the new location should be cool.

@Jackee – I believe there was a post several weeks back saying Gather will be moving to Venable Street to occupy the old Roaring Pines space.

The Roaring Pines owner was closing his shop to focus more on the art of broom making.
