I think Church Hill is beautiful all the time but especially when it snows. If there is enough snow to hide the cars, you can be forgiven for feeling that it is 1880 .
I also like that there are NONE of the ugly flags that the CHA has been hawking for the past several years.

Jean- you’re very creative and have impeccable taste- have you ever thought about designing a flag for the neighborhood?

Kay, thank you so much! No I have not because I do not think it is possible to have a flag that would accurately or honestly represent Church Hill. I don’t know that we need one. The existing flag screams of what the problem with the CHA is, which is limited self interest with a dose of arragonce. It’s sole purpose was to make money and had nothing to do with representing Church Hill. That is why it did not succeed. Also, is was cheap, ugly and Halloweenish. What little color in it faded within a month and Church Hill is still a colorfull community.
