It’s here! Soul ‘n Vinegar, as we previously announced, is finally opening!
Located at 2832 R St (intersection of 29th & R St, formerly Ruth’s Beauty Shop) this new food destination will be opening this Saturday, June 30th 10:00a to 7:00p EST.
The original plan was to open in March, as previously reported, but some construction issues, as is the joy/woe of many businesses and homeowners revitalizing old buildings, got in the way. However, I can tell you that the few extra months of wait is well worth it. I’ve had the pleasure of sampling some of Michelle Parrish’s food and you don’t want to miss out.
Soul ‘n Vinegar’s goal is to provide affordable, fresh, packaged meals to everyone in the neighborhood. The focus will be on providing for all residents of this community, new and old.

Went yesterday. Nice place with ready made food. That’s real food btw. This is no corner store. Wishing Michelle and William all the best in their new endeavor.

What kind of food
It’s a mixture really with both meat, veggie and vegan options. It’s delicious.
