UPDATED: Gather Home and Garden “Swap Meet” April 8th

Due to the snow forecast, the swap meet has been rescheduled to Sunday, April 8th from 12 pm – 5 pm

Gather Home and Garden is hosting a”swap meet” for neighbors as a fundraiser for the Evergreen Cemetery conservation efforts on Saturday, April 7th from 11AM to 6 PM.

The event will be on the sidewalk in front of Gather (2704 E Marshall St). In addition, the folks from Evergreen Cemetery will also have an informational table set up to educate people on the cemetery and their conservation process.

So how does a “swap meet” work?

Neighbors are encouraged to bring gently used/weathered pots, gardening tools, patio furniture, bulbs, seeds, plants, etc to swap or donate. Participants will be given a ticket representing the dollar value of their contributions, that they can then use to “buy” other items. Since donations are being given a value, neighbors are welcome to buy items without a contribution being required. All proceeds will be given to Evergreen Cemetery.
