Call to Action: Bike Walk RVA

Fellow bikers and pedestrians, get your voice heard and discussed the proposed safety improvements along N 29th street.

From the Bike Walk RVA Action Center:

Goals of this project include:

– Traffic calming to slow traffic on N 29th St and improvements to make crossing busy streets easier for everyone

– Act as a safe street through Church Hill to connect people to places they need to go – like churches, schools, playgrounds, parks, housing, and neighborhood amenities like the Robinson Theater, and Bon Secours Community Hospital

– Be part of a biking and walking network in the East End that will link up with downtown, the Virginia Capital Trail, and Rockett’s Landing

Mark your calendars. The event is happening January 17 from 6 to 8 P.M. at the Bon Secours Sarah Garland Jones Center on 2600 Nine Mile Road. Parking at the lot can be limited but you can park on the side streets.
