An Aerial View of the Church Hill North Grocery Store!

Check out this AWESOME aerial shot of Nine Mile Road and 25th St. What do you see? I see the two sites for the grocery store and the Reynolds Culinary Institute!

From the Church Hill North Grocery Store Facebook Page:

Aerial view of store project on December 22. Walls to the grocery store going up soon!

As previously discussed here at CHPN numerous times. The Church Hill North grocery store is moving along and we are hopeful that this is one piece of the puzzle that will alleviate the food desert that is prevalent in this area. Let’s be open to change and be positive that this happens!

Also, check out the new East Side Grocery Store Facebook Page. Not a lot of details yet, but keeping an eye on it this coming 2018. * Update: the name has recently been changed. The link has been now updated.

I talked with them this summer and they planned them to stay put but move into the building they were parked next to and look for a co-tenant since the building is so big.

Will the large (old) tree in the upper right of the photo be saved? It appears to have protective &/or soil barriers around it. It would be great if they can retain the others in the photo as well.

The link in this article for the Facebook page of the store is broken or incorrect.

I sure do wish our community would stop dismissing the existence of the Chimbo Market.

That nice man has been in our community for years providing us with a nice little grocery store for years.
