FWIW – As often as I hear gunfire from Mosby court, I imagine there’s a lot more “non-fatal” shooting going on in the public housing courts than actually gets reported. (Either the bullets aren’t hitting their targets, aren’t being shot at anything in particular, or people are getting hit and not reporting it. Regardless of the classification, this is still technically “non-fatal shooting,” and there’s a lot of it!

Like this even surprises me any longer. They should stop posting it and assume it happens daily.
FWIW – the RPD data that I can find shows 6 aggravated assaults and 1 fatal shooting in Whitcomb last year, so maybe an incident every 2 months or so.

There is a difference between shots fired and a shooting (fatal or otherwise). A shooting is when someone is actually shot.
When I lived off of Fairmount, I’d hear shots almost every night – a small percentage of which ended up with someone being shot.
