What: Plans for Widening East Main Street and Relocating Dock Street, construction to be done in 2017

This project will raise Dock Street to meet Main Street on the other side of the CSX railroad trestle, include a roundabout at that location, and make pedestrian and bicycle improvements. It is separate from the project started this week to replace the Main Street bridge over the Norfolk Southern track. Both projects have the potential to increase traffic diversion through Church Hill during construction. Learn more about this project here.
