Do what I do…Always always have Mace Spray in hand when strolling. Compact enough to fit inside my hand. Takes allll the thinking out of it, perfectly legal and super easy to disable someone to flee the scene. No brainer!

There was a group of 5-6 young men walking down the 600 block of 28th street this evening trying door handles and looking in cars. One was a heavyset man with a red hat on wearing a jean jacket. They ran away when asked what they were doing walking down the street looking into cars and trying door handles.

This was reported to the RPD non-emergency number but just a heads up.

LOCK YOUR CARS.

It’s sad that people who live in a city STILL have to be reminded to lock doors, be aware of surroundings, etc.

Who is to say they were not aware of their surroundings?
